Is A Guy's Height Such A Big Deal To Women?

Ok, ...I'm about 5'9, and I just found out today, that I am considered short for a guy, as far as a girl's thinking goes. My best friend is 5'5, and granted he has always been of a "shorter" statue, I have never percieved him, nor myself as being anything out of the ordinary, if "average" height for a guy.(at least myself) He is really upset about his height, and always, always talking about it. Insisting it's the cause for his not getting the women he wants, jobs, ect. He claims there are messsage boards to validate such claims, and ect.... I have to say, after hearing him over, and over with this all the time, i kind of raised a brow myself, and wondered if there was any truth to this at all? If at all, I assume, some may just be his hard luck, but worth checking into. I am going to list one of his inqueries, and please tell me if it's true or not, because I would like to know as well,a t this point, because this is just too funny. As far as every other guy I have talked to tall, or short, (most) in most cases, height does not seem to matter 8/10 times.

Q: Does a guy who is 6'0,( or taller) have automatic advantage simply just because he is taller than a guy who is 5'7 (and under), regardles of looks, personality, and finacial status on either? Could be smaller Guy is better loking, ect... or reversed.

Q: If so, why? Why not? From women and men, what are the preffered stats?

I persoanlly do not dwell on this,... but would like to know, as i am now curious. I know women have a completely different view from men. I would like to know if this would be accurate, or not, and reasons being. I thought it would be preferance to the individual, but I have heard from my friend, women "statistically" will turn a guy down just because he is considered in that short range.

My girlfriend, it would seem has no probs w/ my height, so she says, and never was a big deal. She is about an inch taller than me, but I have to say never was anything but to joke around with betwen me and her. It is disturbing a lot of guys (my buddy)are like this about the height thing. I hope it's not entirely true. I always did (myself), everything girls "said" they did not like, because I like doing what I like, (got huge/clothes,ect..) and I always turned out. I got big, dressed how I wanted, ect.. I always will do what I like, no matter what. I really never cared what most people thought, as long as I was happy, and friendly to others who were cool to me.That is what does it for me. I could not follow what my girl, or the styles, or some chick magizine says how guys have to look. Either way....no biggie to me, happy with doing what like no matter....

For my buddy Al,...hang in there Bra...

I think its basically the same exact issue as penis size. Some of it is true, some of it isnt. I dont know how Lumberg stands it, hes short AND has a tiny cock.

i think a 6ft guy has an advantage over a 55 guy, but 5 9 is about average and i dont think at that height women would discriminate against your height

most women like men to be taller than they are.....some women like really tall guys.

but, i have seen women with men shorter than they are as well....but to make generalizations, they usually seem to like guys at least a bit taller than they are.

5' 9 isn't a bad height at all. 5' 5 on the other hand i would put i the short category.

I'm 6'5 and liking it, girls like it to I know that for sure...

its earned me scholarship to play ball in juco

but thats about it for now

no experiences with jobs

oh and if you are a tall weak minded kid with no confidence oh and fat, nerdy o smugly than its a waste of height cause I dont know how beneficial that is

you gotta look good too

that way you are putting it all in effect

p.s they also like big feet which dont make sense to me but whatver

Height is definitely an advantage in business. People gravitate toward the taller man, show greater respect, and will usually place more importance on what he says--unless and until he proves himself to be a jerkoff. Over 6', the game is yours to lose. I speak from personal experience--being a little bit taller than 6"-1", I've seen all of that in practice without trying to make it so. That's life.
