i worked in trading (bonds)

obviously i couldn't touch a security, but i was what they call a junior trader basically like a handy man who picks up the phone ands says "trading"

not bad though...I would love to get in the trading bonds department. Even though you didn't do much you can still have it on a resume. Did you work at the Manhattan Office?

did an internship there though? My cousin is a Vice President at CSFB. What did you do there OX? Did the just have you get coffee basically or did you get some hands on stuff?

I've done intern at an IB b4, I'm from singapore. Anyway, I feel that working in IB is too tough....too long hours(no life), extremely low pay for the effort, blood and sweat that you sacrifice! and by the time u reach a level (Vice-P) that u can draw in $$...u mayu juz get retrenched....

i should get into trading or sales but i feel like its not enough money for me.....you basically make 30-60 grand a year out of school and until you get you own accounts or until you get a postion where people work under you you don't make over 100,000 i realize when you do get a postion of importance you can make over a million dollars a year but as far as i'm concerned waiting till i'm 35 to make a few million a year isn't what i have in mind...

global and N/A bonds sales is done out of the NY office
