You're a recent college graduate, congratulations! What were your major and minor?
I majored in journalism and minored in political science.
What made you want to major in journalism?
I learned about Watergate my freshman year of high school and I was just fascinated that 2 reporters could change a nation that way. I decided that maybe that was a way that I could make a difference. Of course, I don't want to necessarily impeach a president, but I’d like to make some kind of impact.
You could always make a Monica Lewinsky impact ya know. Don’t rule that option out.

How has job searching been going?

I've been living at home with my mom...it's been a switch moving home to my small town where everyone knows everyone.

Fishing, writing, working out….
What type of movies do you enjoy?
I love romantic comedies even though I think they are a bunch of hooey...that stuff never really happens. I like scary movies, but only if I have someone to grab. Hmm, I love thriller/whodunits too. I always did like to figure everything out.
How about music?
I listen to most everything. You can always find a country song to fit your mood, plus I like country. But I listen to everything. A lot of rock. A little pop and a little hip hop thrown in there too, but it depends on the music.

How did you discover EF?
Actually, my brother was a member here a long time ago, and I had seen him search the threads. I started reading the boards, but didn't post. Finally, I decided to register and the rest is history.
How did you come up with PHATchik? Is PHATchik F A T? Or is she just PHAT?
no, it didn't mean fat, it mean phat....actually, I’m not sure where I got the idea....phat was just a common slang term and I had probably seen it in a television show or something earlier...I chose chik just because I didn't want to be boring and spell it the normal way, plus it's so much more fun to see people not pay a bit of attention to how it is spelled and misspell it.
Kind of like how I misspell crak, right?
Exactly. But don't start comparing yourself to me...that's just scary

What do you think of EF as a whole?
I think there's a lot of unnecessary drama by people who become too emotionally involved in it. Elite should be a place where you can get advice or tips and even make some new friends. It shouldn't be a place where you get pissed off because someone insulted you. I think that elite has changed a lot in the last few years and not completely for the best.

Which posters are your favorite on EF and why?
Lord, I'll forget someone I'm sure. Taps is definitely a favorite. Project is right up there as are Wodin and Matt. biteme, big4life, and radar are all sweeties. Velvett is definitely a smart lady. I suppose I should add you on there, but I don't want to. Oooh, don't forget the Shadow.

Since you’ve been on EF, have you learned a lot about fitness/received a lot of good advice?
Actually, I have. I don't post a lot on the boards except for the chat & conversation board, but that doesn't mean that I don't check out the other. I had a lot of narrow minded opinions about bodybuilders, anabolics, and related topics, and I’ll be honest and say I’ve changed a lot of them. I’m gotten good tips concerning my own goals and also learned a lot about how others reach theirs. I just wish I had come to these conclusions a lot sooner.
What are your fitness goals?
I've never been a very strong female. I’ve got lower body strength, but my upper body is fairly weak. Since I got out of school, I have slacked off a whole hell of a lot. No gym access will do that to you. I suppose my goals are really just to get toned and stay toned. I’m more concerned with that than I am being able to lift a lot, although that wouldn't be such a horrible thing.
So you’re not just another cardio bunny then?
Nope, not even a little bit. I enjoy lifting. I might not be able to lift a lot, but there's a certain satisfaction in being able to lift more than you could last time.
I knew we all loved you for a good reason.

taps and I are really good friends, and he is one of my favorite people...I'll leave it at that.
What was the reason for your departure from EF besides not having steady internet access until you get a place of your own?
For the last three years, I had spent a lot of time at EF and I had really gained a lot of valuable things from my time there. But I guess I just decided that I was spending too much time there. I was about to graduate with a college degree and I had no clue what the future held for me. I just thought that I needed to go find out. Elite just didn't seem to be a big help in that.
One more question, and if I don't, this interview is worthless - spit or swallow?
