Anyone been part of one?
I have seen the show. Its pretty dramatic.
I may wind up being part of one.
Am I a total jerk for worrying that my friend might throw in my face all the girls I slept with that he works with (at a bar)?
There will be impressionable ladies there who I respect.
I used to have low self esteem and yearn for womens approval.
Now I am a nice guy and I don't want the waters tainted...
I feel like a jerk!

I wasn't the one getting intervened. I had to sit in on some. There are some very personal things in some of them and in some of them the person getting intervened reacts way too defensively and shit hits the fan

I was asked to be in one but I passed. I thought it was two-faced to tell my friend to get help when I was guzzling booze like it was water.

My sisters did it to another sister one time. It was very much a life or death situation. Sister that got committed never forgave them. Bitter bitter - expect to loose your friendship for sure.

Oh well. What is done is done.
If shit hits the fan and my dirty laundry gets aired out at least I can enjoy watching everyones reactions! LOL

Was a part of one for a close relative which sucked because it was very emotional and a lot fo family dirty laundry got aired very suddenly. But remember it is a good thing are doing because you care about that person.
