Internet "relationships"....

Whats up with internet friendships? I have exchanged emails or PMs with numerous people on this board and others. Then one day....poof. They "drop off the face of the earth" like they never existed.

This rarely happens in the real world in my experience.

I've seen people fall off the face off the Earth. Twice now, come to think of it.
 
I think after a while people get bored or they just can't sustain an "internet" friendship beacuse there is no physical or "real" interaction.

i have wondered the same thing. i was talking to this chick for about 2 weeks, exchanged pics the first day, very hot women....she said she thought i was gorgeous also(her words) and wanted to meet me....well after about a week it went from 2 to 3 hour conversations, to her just replying to my hello's with a simple hi, and that's it. she went from emailing me once a day, always saying hi first when i get online, to pretty much nothing, all in like one day....but i think i have it figured out.

i think a lot of these cyber slut chicks are probably in relationships, dating, married etc. and when there dating slows down, or what have you, they see what's on the net, then once they start dating again, or there relationship gets good, then they simply say fuck off, which i don't really understand, because you should always have friends, backup plans etc.

as far as just chatting with friends on the boads!! who cares man...that's the way me and my friends are in real life. we will hangout for a week straight, then not see each other for a week...i guess were sick of eachother or something i don't know...the internet is boring anyways.

I don't know if I have just been lucky or what, but all the people that I have met on-line and allowed into my world have been pretty good. Sometimes the friendships will have their ups and downs, but that happens in all friendships.:)

This is the first and only chat board i have ever used and i've met some cool people on it.

As far as relationships go, i choose to meet women in real life, never over the net.....more of a challenge and more of a buzz. Nothing like the thrill of the chase.
 
I've met some awesome people through this board. I've also made some really great friends. THere's some people that I am very close to. I don't regret that. The only thing I ever regret from internet friendships is the distance. :(

I've talked to some great people on here, and made even better friends. In the comming years I would like to see a few of them for the 1st time and see others again

We had a nice little Texas Group when I 1st got here...infact the orig. Austin Group hosted an Elite/Texas Get together though 6 of those who committed never showed up, a few of us still had lots of BBQ and sun by the pool

Super Dave and Dread lady are the only ones left that still remember some of the get togethers...I'm still Dissapointed Johnny O and Flexed 1 weren't able to make it...Big Buck was Chilling back on the West Coast and wasn't able to stop by either

ttplkg was new here and all the Dallas peeps stayed in Dallas :(
 
I remember hearing about that BBQ when you all organized it. I intend to meet a couple from here as well eventually.
 
Raina is one of my bestest best true blue gal pals that I just happened to meet fro hre...I used t talk to alot of y'all..io the last fe mnths though Ive really olytalked to a handful of people on here...I kind amiss it, lol I even blocked some to get away from it but took thos eoff Id on't care anymore its nice to have pople to talk to....Ive met a bunch of people of the net i lie, I meet peple iin all kinda s of aspects, he net is jst simpl another tool...I dunno this ex late night Kgof elite sorta dropped off the face of the earth too...but I guess Il try to be better now...miss some of you people
