Im on my 7th week of a 10weeker...sust/deca.......250/300mg

And my shoulders kill while working out...i mean it feels like someone is sticking a knife in my shoulder...but only while working out and then like 10 minutes later....gone...what is this from and how do i stop it...i have been conservative as to how much weight i throw on....wont go more than 50 -60lbs from when i started....depending on the muscle maybe lower....like to keep the reps high....please help..

that might be a rupture on your joint cartilage. it that persists I would go to the doctor and check. that exact thing happened to me 3 weeks ago I had to go to the doc and he told me that is was just strained my shoulder muscle. so i had to give it a rest about 4 days and everything is fine now, well yesterday I felt something like a little pinch but that was about it. good luck bro.!

i already took 4 days off and yesterday was my first day back....i went easy on it and on my 3rd set...same shit all over again...i was doing bench...at about 205...high reps...maybe too much weight???

that's exactly what happened to me bro I was on the bench with my buddies lifting and I felt like something tore, fortunately it was just a strained muscle. Just go easy on the weight though until it heals I think you strained a muscle bro. IMO I still feel a bit of tension when I work bi and tris as well but I'm just taking it easy, I want it to get it going hard for my next 6 weeks but I guess I rather go easy and really injure myself.

What happens sometimes is your strength shoots up so quickly during your cycle, and the supporting tendons and muscles (rotator cuff for example) don’t keep up, hence shoulder, joint, and tendon pain. I know it’s hard to do, but sometimes you have to NOT add weight every time you lift when you’re on. Sounds like you’re already doing that? Maybe pick a day that you’ll do some rotator cuff exercises exclusively.

BA is on the right track...you shouldn't add weight while on gear...on the contrary, you should lower it if anything. I'm thinking of writing an e-book or something, and this will be discussed in depth.

what types of exercises would help with my rotator cuff...and shoulders without hurting
These exercises are hard to describe, but I'll give it a try.

Grab a light DB. Lie on a bench on your side. With the arm that is free; keep your elbow pinned against your side and move your arm up and down. Now that you know the movement, you can do many different variations such as taking a band and wrapping it around something and while standing there with your elbows pinned to your side, pull the band left to right and then right to left.

{edit}

What do you know? I just found a web site that describes them perfectly.

Rotator Cuff Exercises

Try doing closed-chain exercises...push-ups instead of bench press, pull-ups instead of pull-downs, inverted rows instead of rows, dips instead of decline bench, etc...

All are good for the rotator cuff, moreso than the usual "rotator cuff exercises" as long as your cuff isn't seriously damaged and can hold up to the exercises.

Also, the reason this is happening is probably due to simply overexertion of the shoulder elements. This is probably causing some inflammation, which is a very bad thing when it happens in the shoulder. There are so many structures in there, in such a tight space, that any one injury will effect pretty much every other structure in there, and the cycle of destruction goes on and on. The shoulder is one fucked up joint...

Anyways...my advice, go lighter, add volume and frequency, and use closed-chain exercises.

Good luck bro:)

Good info! I never knew that and that’s good to know. Actually, me, I never trained rotator cuffs specifically. When I did have a slight problem a few years back, it just went away with time.

Don't mess with it......I did and ended up under the knife !!

Get it checked out by a good sports med doc..push for an MRI
that will tell the tale, then you can proceed in the proper direction.
This could be the difference between going through some Theripy and being back in the gym in no time, Or not knowing whats goen on and a few months ladder needing sugery ! then your out for a wile. Thrust me on this, get it check out

thanks for all the help...ill try lightening the load.along with switching to some nonpainful workouts.and if that dont work...ill have a doc check it out....

i agree, it's better to have it checked out rather than risk further injury. Nothing worse than having to take off days during cycle due to injury.

i fucked my AC joint up by benching. i just worked around my shoulder exercises for about 3 weeks and it was fine. i guess it depends on the person also.

the pain is only getting worse..and im not lifting...i lifted a gallon of water this weekend..and it put me down like a little girl...it hurt real bad...guess im off to the doctors...for some releif..thanks
