Insulin use with AAS - Experienced users please comment!

I am currently using prop and tren ace and its going really well. Diet is spot on, 300g protein, 500g carbs and lots of good fats. I am now up to 210 at 5`8 and lean.
I want to incorporate slin into this stack. I have used it a few times before so I know what I am doing. I am thinking of adding it at about 10iu post training, five times per week. When I used it in the past it was with 4iu HGH and the results were good. I am short of disposable cash at present and as slin doesnt cost me a penny I can add it to this stack.
I need to know whether it will yield any positive results when used without HGH and whether using 10iu post training is enough? I dont want to use too much for health purposes but enough to give me an anabolic burst and aid in gaining a few extra lb in coming six months or so.
I usually have 60g whey and 70g glucose post training with a wholewheat bagel and a meal another hour later cocnsisting of 60g protein and 100g carbs. Is this ample to yield the best results of the slin?

Yeah, it will help. Except immediately post workout/post insulin shot drink a creatine/grape juice blended drink and somec Amino Acid pills. Continue sipping juice as normal and have a high quality whey protein drink an hour or so later. Continue sipping juice over the next 4 hours or so. I prefer grape juice because it's practically pure glucose, but pretty much any juice will do fine. Juicy Juice is a cheaper alternative that's fortified w/ vitamins.

good advice.....and also remember massive, whatever you eat for 3-4 hours after you take that insulin can make you fat, so eat clean....this is assumnig you are taking humulin R, but even humalog you need to eat clean for 2 hours or so afterwards, insulin has a tendency to make many people fat
 
How much insulin would you recommend using? I`d guess 10iu is sufficient it was before anyway. Would it be of any benefit using the slin more often or just post workout?
After the insulin shot, is 10g carbs with each 1iu slin enough or is more carbs better over a 3 hour post shot period - also I intend to use 60g whey is this enough?

well the 10g/iu rule is sort of a guideline, some need more, some need less, you'lll just have to fine tune it with what your body is telling you. I would only take as much carbs and fat as i have to, keep the fat as low as possible......60g whey for your first shake, and i'd have another 60g 1.5h or so later
 
10iu taken IM post workout will do a good job, a carb and whey shake with no fat and some creatine will cover it nicely.

I have just tried the IM route with novo rapid for the 1st time, it is a much better way than sub q IMO, just be aware it hits a bit faster.
 
just post workout or do you use more often? i dont expect to see much from it but using it only 4-5 times per week at 10iu a time over 3-4 months I`m hoping to gain a few more lb than with just AAS. Also it is good to use during PCT I have found in the past with nolva and some trib.
 
One thing that I have noticed is that the amount of carbohydrates required pwo is dependant on how many carbs i have eaten before my workout. If I eat 50g carb from a complex source an hour before I only need about 6g/iu. If not, then I need 10g/iu.

Also, hit up a meal an hour after and 2 hours after - both 50g carb 50g protein 0g fat when using novorapid or humalog
 
Agreed, the 10g per iu guideline is a good, safe place to start, but I can get away with less than that myself.

Humilin R is only needed post workout. If you gain weight easily, you're not going to like what it does. You might have to call Jenny.
