Insulin Rookie Question

I have gained 10 pounds in the last week of 10ius of Humulin-R postworkout. I am noticing that ALOT of it is fat gain, & I am wondering why that might be, or if this is common for alot of people. I am on a 3500 calorie per day diet which always keeps me quite lean, so I see no other alternative than to blame the slin. As far as how I am using it, it goes like this:

10 IUs Postworkout, then immediate taking of 100 grams of simple carbs(White Grape Juice), 10 grams of Creatine, and 50 grams of Protein via Nitro-Tech Meal-Replacement. Two hours later I use the same amount(and the same juice) for another 100g of SCs, and then have a can of Tuna, for an additional 40 grams of Protein. Normally this would keep me quite lean. Any suggestions? Im going to dump the Slin tonight if that is the general consensus.

BTW, I am also using Test & GH as well. Lifting Routine is 2on-1off, 2on-2off. 6'0" 200lbs.(formally), 210lbs(current). Usually around 7-8% BF.
 
there is no reason to take the second round of simple carbs 2 hours later. your arent taking in any fat after taking the insulin. drop the second round of sugars and you should be fine.
 
Insulin also makes you store fat more. Try to take in zero grams of fats with your 10iu injections...The mrp probably has fat, right? And try to keep your fat intake to a bare minimum during the entire time you're using the slin.

Also, you aren't using slin ED are you?

Thanks brother. I would still like to hear some other opinions though(not that I dont respect yours JC), since I have always read that the Carbs 2- 2.5hrs later are essential. Perhaps just some Glucose tabs lying around would make due yes?? Thanks
 
yes they are essential...but you are taking 200grams when taking 10 units makes only 100grams essential. and you only need to regulate your fat intake till 4 hours after injection.

The Nitro-Tech has 1.5 grams of fat per serving bro, & I only use the slin on lifting days. Is the 3 grams of fat that I am taking in from the Nitro-Tech too much?? If so, then I dont quite know what to use that would have less fat than that. I mean, even Tuna has .5 grams per serving(1.5 per can).
 
Three grams is not going to make a difference.

Three gramsof fat = 27 calories.

There are 3,500 calories in 1lb. of fat.

Don't worry about it.
 
I tried to not use the carbs 2 hrs following the slin shot & hypo set right in, unfortunately. I cant deal with this fat gain so I am losing the slin as it is obviously the reason for it as far as I am concerned.
 
maybe some other bros could add insight to this, but could it be that muscle glycogen may not be fully depleted?
 
Well...I think i found the problem...

Your using Humalin - R

Its got about a 12 hour halflife right?

Tuna has fat....not much....but still has some...and so does your protien.

Try switching to HUMALOG...

The half life is only 6 hours....

Yeah, that's why i said to keep fat intake down all day.
