Insulin results (let's hear yours)

I am considering using it between cycles (as I am quite lean 8.5% it seems that slin may be a good option for me). I am curious as to what some results you guys who have used it before (particularly by itself) have achieved. Were your gains very permanent? And how uncomfortable did it make you feel, sides wise? I have read good anecdotes of guys gaining like 10-20 lbs. in 4 weeks and putting on 40 lbs. on their squat...I am lucky if I get that out of any cycles...
 
There is a lot of evidence saying insulin use, off cycle, is pointless. I experienced this first hand ...

Didn't you put on alot of extra fat? I can not seem to put on fat no matter what (which I of course like). My average daily macronutrient intake is ~200-250 g. of fat, ~500-600 g. of carbs, ~300-320 g. of carbs. That is about 5500 calories (and I weigh 185-190...at best...) Anything that may increase my apetite, or cause me to put on some more mass would be a welcome addition...
 
As it is a very anabolic hormone and will make your body "suck up" almost everything you feed yourself with during the time from the inj(30-1hour) and post that time with X minutes(depends opn what slin you use).

Use it post workout and concentrate on the meals around the injection

The excess of fat was due to the way I used insulin. Let's just say I was a little foolish and got too excited in the way I used it.

A good way to gauge if you are gaining muscle or not is by looking at your strength increase. On cycle, I noticed the aid of insulin increased my weekly strength increase but it didn't while off. Nandi posted a few studies a while back that suggested slin use while off cycle is pointless, I finally believe him ...

I know HOW to use it. I was just curious about those who have (as I have not) and if they experienced good strength gain/weight gain from it...I don't want to use it if it is really not that good to use alone (actually I would be using it with 10 g. creatine)...this would be my bridge...But quite honestly I am sick of injections right now (as I usually am by the end of each cycle)...I am just looking at something a little different, and since I don't seem to gain fat no matter what I eat, I figured it might not be such a bad idea (as I am an ectomorph to the extreme...)
 
my face exploded, not worth it imop...but I was strong as hell and put on 5-7 pounds weekly.
 
i don't know WTF you guys are talking about, isn't inlsulin for diabetic people? :confused:

ok, i'll tell you....but you need to address me in the title next time as "insulin guru BIG FED help!!!!". lol. its good for guys like us (little shits or skinny shits).....at first you will gain like 6-7 lbs just with the slin and your usual bulking diet and using 8-10iu.....then you need to start upping calories to insane levels. but if you use 12iu and mega calories you can't lose, and will continue gaining. like stated i take in about 320 carbs and 100 protein (1300 cals) in the 2 hrs post injection (humulin R) (12iu). i am killing myself to get the calories in. its fucking me up, since i know i should have put on more weight so far. but i'm using more powders dense in calories now later in the day after the three heavy duty post insulin feedings. so basically the diet (eating enough carbs especially at the right time) is key. someone like me or you doesn't need to eat as clean though. with fast metabolisms. so that is a good thing. concentrating and staying focused on 5-6000 cals minimum each day IS the hard part though. for me at least. bascially should work similar for your situation in-between cycles.
