Insulin Needle help

how many units equals one mL? i need help for a bro who has insulin syringes with 1" needles.... he wants to use them.... thanks
 
you sure about 100units=1ml bro? i drew up 100 units and it lookeda bit much... but im probably wrong... just wanna make sure you know?

so someone please explain this. if a slin pin has 100 units(1cc) how come if you completly empty a vial of serotim which is 18iu you almost fill up the whole slin pin?

B/c IU is an abstract unit of measurement. It doesn't have a certain volume. It depends on the "thing" thats being measured. An IU of slin is diff then an IU of growth and diff than a IU of Vit D or E.

And slin and growth can be diff concentrations, but slin is almost always 100IU per 1cc.
 
One quick question.
If I had the 1cc insulin needle and had to fill up to 1.8iu, how where would that go on a 1cc slin needle. Would go between the 10 and 20? Thanks!
