Injury recovery

Not sure as of yet what the problem is. Jarred my knee on impact and currently finding it difficult to straighten my leg let alone train.

I'm fighting 9 weeks on Saturday and going to the physio tomorrow. Currently on a low dose anavar cycle.

From my research I'm pretty sure I've got "runners knee". I'm looking into a NPP cycle to lubricate the joint making it easier to train.

Would hgh help my case or should I stick with a NPP and test cycle ?

your not going to want to hear this but drugs arent going to fix your knee. At 21 you have plenty of natural GH flowing through your system and before AAS use likely had plenty of test too. Active people suffer injuries, plain and simple. You need to encourage healing by getting ample nutrients, ample blood flow and ample lymph flow. That means use but not to the point of pain, lymph is moved by muscle contractions. Blood flow brings nutrients and healing factors to the injury and removes waste/damage. That means no nsaids/ice for pain/inflammation it will dramatically slow healing.

Most joint damage is to collagen based tissue so consume a good 5+ grams vit C, 5+ grams lysine, couple grams proline, couple grams chondroiten spread throughout the day so your body has the building blocks of collagen to facilitate the repair and dont do anything that causes additional pain.

Thanks for the advice dude. Only problem is that pulling out of this fight isn't really an option.

Just gunna have to rest I guess :( lol

If its a career decision you gotta do what ya gotta do but make healing a priority or that nagging injury can become chronic with permanent damage.

Also I would continue to do what you can as long as it doesnt cause pain. exercising etc increases blood flow which will help healing.

You just dont want to workout so that it hurts and feel like you have to ice it or take a bunch of pain meds to get through the day.

Yeah staying away from pain meds completely. Thanks for the help dude gunna be a tough training camp lol

are you making a big living on this? I highly doubt it so why cripple yourself at 21?

Brett Favre didn't miss a game for years and years thanks to drugs so he would go out there and hammer away, now he can't even remember his wife's name and has chronic shoulder and back problems for life. its about risk vs. reward. his family will never have to work again so I suppose it was worth it? however his kids might not be able to even talk to their dad because he might not know who they are in a few years.

so take my advice if you want it and pull out of the fight, or you can take a bunch of drugs and then suffer long term.

Listen to what the doctor says on this one. If it isn't going to heal in time for the fight....well, Stevesmi said it here^^^

Yeah I'm gunna see what the physio says if it's something serious I'm not gunna risk my knee over it......

If you want to recover, the best thing is rest. I don't think you should be cycling right now. However, you can try GHRP-6, which has been shown to boost your ability to recover.
