injury question

I've had a nagging shoulder injury for a long time now. With just a general observation, my doc. said it was bursitus. I'm 3 wks. out of a bulker that contained deca. That shit totally cured my injury pain wise. Now it's starting to come back. If the deca helped it, what would you think is culprit? Tendon, ligaments, what would you guess? Any help would be appreciated.

Well, Deca's original purpose when developed was to act upon the bones/joints. I believe it has an anti-inflammatory effect (it also increases bone marrow production). Whether or not it was truly solving your pain issues at the source or simply masking them by having an anti-inflammatory effect is probably something that should be evaluated by a doctor.

I'm just finishing my cycle ran deca-d each once a week along with winny eod.The deca "fixed" all of my pain while I was on it but after I finshed it the pain is slowly coming back..so for me it was just a temp soultion..great while it lasted...oh deca f#$% up your sex drive too..mines like a roller coaster right now up and down..cant wait for it to level out..

it's hard for anyone to give you a diagnosis from here bud.... it's more than likely some sort of joint problem if the deca was helping it... the only way to be sure is to get an MRI... in the meantime, make sure you're drinking lots of water... take in plenty of EFA's (great anti-inflammatory)... glucosamine & chondroitin can help for the joints, but it takes months before you see any effect.... some guys say eating gelatin every day helps build cartilidge.... you should do some basic stretches to keep the shoulder limber.... strengthen the weaker muscles in there....and ice several times a day....

hope this helps!

Heavy exercise can cause injuries by itself, even with no juice involved.

Deca has progestin action, and progestins release antinflamatory cytokines.
NSAID antinflamatories relieve pain, yes but they also inhibit growth by healing muscle, some slight, controlled "injury" is needed for muscle growth.

Deca heals injuries without hindering muscle growth, so if deca heals you, use deca.

Be aware that deca may promote gyno by being a progestin. Altough usually also requires high levels of estrogen for gyno to develop. So some nolva is wise.
Antiaromatase may increase pain by decreasing natural progesterone production.

you can't just tell someone "if deca heals you, use deca" ... first of all, it only provides temporary relief... most joint pain sufferers who have taken deca will agree that once they're off it, the pain comes back... if pain inevitably comes back, that certainly isn't "healing" it.... best is to find alternative approaches for long-term relief... such as laying off heavy lifting for a while... natural anti-inflammatories.... physical therapy / stretching... icing...

Ive found that deca heals, even if antinflamatories or similar meds are discontinued before full healing, the pain will come back.
