injury question

I've been off for 6 weeks due to bursitis in my right shoulder. My doctor said after 6 wks I should be able to resume activity. I did very light weights last night to limber up & I have a little pain in my shoulder. I'm not taking any more time off, i need to start lifting again. My question is, if I start an 8 wk cycle (Sust. 500, EQ 200, Primo 200) do you think the steroids would help in the healing of the bursitis?

Unfortunatly steroids won't help u heal. In fact they may even cause you to get injured more. Deca will lub your joints and it will feel better but the injury is still there. Under normal conditions it takes the body about 3 weeks to heal the injury then another 3 weeks to reset the tissues. That is why your doc gave you about 6 weeks to rest. Take some time off bro. 3 weeks is what I would do then start lifting lightly THEN when getting stronger start a cycle. Injuries suck but if you don't take care of them they become chronic and lead to long vacations from training. TRUST me 2 weeks is not long and you may experience new growth on coming back. Your tendons will thank u.

Take that advice. I have been out for the best part of the year with knee injuries... I tried to get back a little to early and ended up prolonging the injury. It does suck.. but the wait will be worth it. In the mean time, read about preventing this kind of injury from taking place again... or put together your "Welcome Back" cycle!!!
That is my 2 cents.

I would say rest, brother. I know when I'm on a cycle and get stornger the pains and aches come with it, so it's only bound to get worse. REST, REST, REST.
