Injury question

I have injured my bicep from using too much weight on a military press routine (muscle must not have been warmed up enough).

My questions is: Since the bicep muscle is used in virtually every exercise, one way or another (ie. curls, lats, dips, dumbell presses...), how long should I wait until my next cycle? I wonder how long tendon damage takes to heal.
 
it all depends on the individuals recovery capabilities; just do the usual: water, eat healthy, get rest, massage...etc. and start off slow when you feel its time to hit the iron again. personally i would not hit a cycle if you are prone to an injury, it would waste it.
