Injection Virgin Questions...

What advice can you give you someone that wants to graduate from oral steroids, but ALREADY has a major phobia of needles?

(Something other than "Suck it up!").

What things make injection easiest and most dummy proof for a beginner?

- Needle Gauges ?
- Needle Lengths ?
- Injection Location(s) ? (On the body)

23g, 1.5'' into the glute, you wont feel it. my first injection was my easiest.

actually i never used anything bigger than 1"
most people start with glute or thigh. I would recommend 23g or 25g 1" pins. they can be used for almost every injection site. Only objection would be if you decide to inject in your glute and have a lot of fat there you might opt for a 1.5" This way there will be no question if you made it into the muscle.

Draw with 18g, shoot with 1" 25g in quad. Won't feel a thing (unless you hit a nerve). I feel I have more control injecting in the quad. It is too ackward to inject myself in the glute.

Dude, you don't have to dart the thing in. The needles are so fucking sharp they don't really hurt. Just ease that badboy in. I geeked out for 45 minutes, hypnotized by the needle on my first solo injection. Until then I had a chick doing it for me, but she wasn't all that so I took over the duties from her. Just inject slow after you aspirate first. It is not the inject that hurts, it's the bolus of liquid that can knock you on your ass. Go for it!.........good luck........you can do it.

Shit I was scared my first time too. I hated needles. You'll just decide to do it one day and once you do it, you'll never have trouble again. Damn I look forward to injections.

If your stuff is oil based, make sure the oil is pretty warm. Makes injecting a lot easier and IMO dosen't make you as sore.
