Calve shots usually hurt. There is a higher chance of hitting a nerve or a vein. There is also a good chance of you hitting the lymphatic system when injecting calves and this will cause tremendous swelling and will make your calve and ankle look like jello.

I've injected calves many with no problems.. Drew blod once. that's all.. Only use them when I have cycles with really short esters like tren ace though.. OR, for shit like test prop that hurt for a few days, if I don't want to immobilize my arms for the next day workout x)

Stick (no pun intended) with glutes, delts, and quads. Glutes are painless, period, but can be hard to get at. Delts are great and painless. Quads are painless and easy to do since both hands are free, but there are more blood vessels there. If you are doing test e, you will only need to inject twice a week, so the above is all you will need and more. I just finished a test e cycle the beginning of the year and I just hit quads pretty much the whole time.

I would stay away. A "hip shot" on the outside of your quads near where your hands lay at your sides when standing up is a good place if you want to avoid the glutes for some reason.

Calves have always been a spot I cant inject. Too much pain,,soreness,,and bruising even when I
used insulin pins.

i think 1 inch is good i am not fat but neither lean my problem is the thick of the pin,i will use test enanthate so what do you think 23g or 25 would be better

Good test e will go through a 25g just fine, plus it helps since you have to inject slow and slow means less pain/soreness.

Is it a big deal if I inject the same glute every time? For some reason it's easier for me to hit the right one because I'm right handed. When I've injected the left I can't get the needle in as straight and it's not as smooth going as the right. I couldn't imagine hitting the calves! Ouch

better to be safe than sorry bro.. I never hit the same place twice in a week, not even with injections each day.. Triceps and biceps are sweet, delts too..
If you cant tolerate a little bit of pain, you're never gonna be really big or really strong anyways!

Calves ouch! I've heard people that have problems building their calves have success with adding size there. I don't know anyone personally or know how accurate that is. Seems pointless if your using a long ester though.

I think calves are an easy spot to inject that's why i would like to use them but i know calves are not the best so i will use quads i think it is a good choise i have never use them either.
