Injection site inflammation

Thanks again for the guidance gents, it is appreciated.

Given the corrections in technique as you have suggested, can I expect the second go 'round to be less punishing? I certainly need to stay away from that glute for a while and for Sunday was considering putting the two individual 1 cc doses together, and slowly putting them into the good glute. With all else done correctly, and the slight dilution of the test, can I expect this second week to go better than the first? Or do you advise half dose of each together done twice weekly?

I have been unable to do much this week, and need to get back to pulling and squatting hard next week.

Thanks.

To follow-up on the issue of last week, by Thursday the pain had let up enough to allow for a decent workout, dl's and cleans felt pretty good, hip and glute just felt a bit congested.

Today is Saturday, one week into the cycle, and to ensure I could squat hard come Monday, did my second injection in R delt instead of the other glute, just in case. Made the following changes:

1. Thoroughly wiped vial tops with isopropanol, air dried.
2. Pulled 1/2 cc of deca into pin, then 1/2 cc test into same pin.
3. Wiped area with ipa, air dried.
4. Switched out needle and replaced with tip from pin #2, still capped.
5. Put ~1 inch into R delt, aspirated (clear) then slowly injected the cc taking about 10 seconds.
6. Withdrew, applied direct pressure, then did about 50 slow laterals (no weight) to get the blood moving, massaged a bit.
7. After maybe 10 minutes or so, put the heating pad to it for 30 minutes.

We will see what the morning brings, but hopefully between the better technique, new pin to inject, and now going to twice weekly shots with half the dose, this one will go better.

Thanks to those who responded.
