Injection schedule and half-lives

I am going to be running a cycle of Test E at 500mg per week starting in about a month (my first by the way). Most of the info and members on here seem to favor a split dose which would be 250mg every 3.5 days with this type of test. Test E has a half-life of 10.5 days, and I recently came across a couple of pieces of info that favor injecting at half of the given drugs half-life in order to obtain the most stable blood levels which we all know is important to keep sides down. This seems to make sense to me from a mathematical perspective (I have actually played with the numbers a bit). Can anyone explain to me the logic behind the 3.5 day injection preference with Test E?

once a week for test E is fine. 250 is prefable for less sides and MORE stable blood levels.

The more stable you keep test, insulin, ect is almost always the better option.
I love being able to see and analyze things in charts and graphs like those, as to reading text with just a bunch of numbers. Guardian, where did you find those and do you know of any sites where there are a lot of them?
