Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below Anyone ever injected a peice of glass from a broken amp? I was just loading my needle and noticed a glass sliver sitting on the plunger. Lucky I was paying attention so I transfered the oil to another pin. I used an amp opener to break the amp and 18g pin to draw, using 23g to shoot. Would this not even have made it through the 23g? It was a tiny but kind of long sliver. What would happen if you had a glass sliver in your ass? I know it couldn't be good.

that would be very painfull if you injected a glass shard...drug manufacturers are mooving away from using glass and towards plastic single use containers when at all possible,....I have seen some nasty cuts from trying to open glass ampules.. years ago some types on medications came in large "multidose ampules"(sort of an oxymoron)..they were quite large...(think of a bowling pin) jk..they were large though

If it were small enough to fit through the needle, your body would push it out of your body w/o you feeling a thing. If it was a big enough piece, you might form an abscess around it which is your body's way of protecting you. I've had this happen and I just let the piece fall to the bottom of the syringe. It will usually stay there throughout the whole shot!
