Injected into Vein - How much wasted?

Thanks for the input everyone, it was cyp.

To the above poster, I did aspirate and like I said, there was nothing.

That said, my experience probably wasn't psychosomatic, as waking up from sleep with a documented fever via thermometer is a little hard to psychologically induce lol.

I had something similar happen again recently but nothing to this magnitude. I think it's possible I had a transient infection that led to my symptoms because the fever just doesn't fit with the rest of the story

I actually chuckled when I read the title of the thread. Lets stop and think about this for a minute. How does testosterone move around the body and get to the muscles? ummm, the bloodstream? So if testosterone ended up in the bloodstream how would it be wasted?

It won't be wasted but I think it will create a testosterone spike rather than slowly being introduced into the blood. The whole purpose of the ester is to lower the solubility of the testosterone so it enters the bloodstream more slowly, where the compound is quickly hydrolyzed and the testosterone becomes bioavailable. If it is injected directly into the bloodstream I would think the ester is stripped very quickly and the entire dose is immediately available to the body.

LOL, I understand the principle of deep IM injection. Just thought it was kinda funny to think it would be wasted.

I figured you did was replying to the OP. Also, I highly doubt the whole injection went into a vein. IV is sometimes hard to do - I can't imagine that going 90 degrees into a muscle will accidentally put the tip of the needle exactly in the middle of a vein and the whole shot in its entirety gets into the bloodstream. More likely that a vein was nicked and a bit gets in.
