Two week experiment with injectable 4-ad-ec 100mg ED at +500KCals in an attempt to cut BF and gain lean mass.
Weight Gain: +4.5
Fat Mass -.2.5
Total gain in LBM: +7lbs
Increased sense of well being, increased recovery, increased strength, mild insomnia, increased sex drive, no noticeable subcutaneous water retention or increase in acne. Very pleased with results thus far, especially when 20g of raw powder is less than $100.00 and can be purchased legally.

I have heard of 4-ad-ec whats the diffrence between powder 4-ad & 4-ad-ec or are they the same?
was it used by itself?
any downfalls of it? was it hard to convert to an inj?
looking to use it on my greyhound (endurance athlete) many have reported cns stim, increased recov, little or no muscle gains "good for my dog", and good streghth increase

Yep, the rat levator assays claim 4-ad is 85% as anabolic as testosterone. That being said, I was surprised at my results. I expected to gain maybe 4lbs at the most. Others on Animal's board have used his suspension kit and compare their 4-ad results to deca or winny. I'm convinced 4-ad has intrinsic activity and so it isn't just a "prohormone" in my opinion. Assuming the invitro study is correct(15% conversion to test) and there is no other physiological limitation on conversion(like enzyme limitation) then I was getting roughly 105mg of test per week from conversion which we all know isn't enough to do squat from a bodybuilding standpoint, it's not even a replacement dose. There is a whole thread on the supplement board.
It's unfortunate that androstenedione was the first pro hormone introduced to the market. I hate to see the comments like "pro hormones suck, just use gear because you'll get less sides and better results" because the person tried andro when it first came out. I challenge anyone to do a 4-ad-ec cycle and then an A-bomb cycle and still claim they got less sides and greater results from the A-bombs. Finally, Testosterone is a pro hormone(converts to DHT) and it doesn't suck.

sounds good... nice to see a post on this that gives some real results...especially after only two weeks.
Okay a couple questions for you.
1. Which 4-AD did you use?
2. I used Fina/Sust and got HORRIBLE fina dick.....did you have ANY sexual side effects from your 4-AD experiment?
3. How were the injects? The latest batches os Sust are very paingul...especially in the quads.. How does 4-ad compare?
4. Did you do any site injects? and who's kit did you use?

4-ad doesn't have an ester, the 4-ad-ec is 4-ad ith an ethylcarbonate ester attached. It was the only thing used. The only changes I made were adding 3-4 working sets per bodypart and I added 400-500kcals per day to my diet mainly from carbs. The first week I actually didn't do my cardio on two of my four days due to work/personal obligations so the calorie surplus was actually greater. It seemed the 4-ad had a profound effect on my metabolism. I would definitely encourage anyone attempting the experiment to have their BF checked before and after to ensure accuracy.
The only negative side was the mild insomnia which I also get on test. There were no estrogen side effects or bloat but I can do a gram of test and get no substantial bloat or estrogen side effects.
It's very easy to convert if anyone is familiar with fina conversion. However, the best concentration I've been able to produce is 60mg/ml with the first batch being 50mg/ml and both required heating in a water bath to get everything into solution. Apparently the ethyl carbonate ester does a crappy job of improving solubility or perhaps some impurities were the culprit.
The only negative side was the mild insomnia which I also get on test. There were no estrogen side effects or bloat but I can do a gram of test and get no substantial bloat or estrogen side effects.

4. I injected in thighs, shoulders, chest, traps,and bi's. I've never used a 'kit', conversion required BA, wesson oil, .2um sterile filter, 10cc syringe , 18g needle and a sterile vial. All told I can convert 2g for under $6.00.
5. I'm not using any ancillaries because I want to get a feel for the amount of supression it causes. I wasn't curious enough to spend the cash for before and after blood tests. I'm in my first week of recovery and I may lose a pound or two but I'll know for sure by the end of the week.

Sounds like Ill have to give it a try. I just cant bring myself to use Fina again and my girlfriend will FUCKING KILL ME if I use Clomid again. Clomid fucked me up mentally REALLY bad.
