inflamed tendon in right shoulder

New member
greetings, how are you all, this is my first post! I've been having trouble with an inflamed tendon in my shoulder for about 6 months now and i thought it would sort itself out, but i haven't really had any significant time off since i did it. Apparently because of the inflamation i have reduced movement in the shoulder.
I think it was done while doing side lateral raises and it didn't used to affect my training much, but it is getting increasingly sore and my right side (chest, shoulders etc.) seem to be weaker and stagnant while the left side of my body is growing!
Just wondered what u guys think i should do? rest? recovery?

Any replies would be much appreciated.

Plenty of people around here have experienced the same thing, so I'm sure there will be some good help available.

Have you tried the search function? Since its limited it can be a bit useless at times, but it might be worth a go.

I had a similar problem...It was caused by using a wide bench grip. I narrowed it up some and try bringing the bar lower on my chest and have had no problems since. You might give that a try if your bb benching.

Thanks for the replies, I've been thinking my bench grip is a little wide, might be contributing to the problem. I've also been having pains in the middle of one side of my chest which i suspect is also tendon trouble, might be an idea to rest up for a while, then start back a bit lighter.

thanks again...
