Infection?

I think my buddy's got an injection infection.

Friday he took 2 shots, 1 in each glute 3cc's of EQ and 2cc's of Sustanon.

His left glute is a lil bit swollen and red, a lil harder in that area, very tender. He doesn’t remember which AS went into each glute.

He used sterile needles and syringes, 1 to draw with and another one to inject with, even whipped the spots down with rubbing alcohol. I asked him if the needle moved at all while he injected, and he was like " I dont know, possibly"
told him to put heat on it maybe go in the Jacuzzi tub tonight, and if it doesn’t start feeling better by tomorrow to go to a doctor.

What could he tell the doctor its from?

I would give it a little more time than 3-4 days unless you are positive its infected.
It does sound like its a possibilty. Another thing to look for with the current symptoms is for the site to be warmer to the touch.

As for an excuse.. perhaps b-12 injection?

i had an infection once and got sick(fever) within 24 hours of injecting, the area was red and warm and spread very quickly and the pain was unbearable. has he got these symptoms?
i have had bad injects since then but i would know pretty much straight away if i got an infection again.

What do people take B12 shots for?

for increased appetite.....although some dissagree.. It works for me... I always keep a short supply of some type of antibiotics on hand for just these instances.. 2-3 days of cipro will knock the shit outta it... but thats a strong antibiotic...
