I am having some trouble opening Schering Amps. Can anyone give me a little help on how this can be done safely?

pen cap or amp opener is the only way i know of

Ball point pen is great way but use a nail file to start them for scoring top.

How do you use a ball point pen?

Get a small file and score a notch at the neck. It dosen't have to be much. It should just pop open w/ a little pressure.

amp openers are the easiest

Even with an amp opener i've had a few bust in my hands ... I had a batch of Organon Deca amps that were like trying to crack open the neck of a coke bottle .

As stated above , the best is to score them with a file first if you don't have an amp opener .

If you don't have any of the amp opening gear or file - try the Mcgyver method - use the bottom edge of one amp to score the neck of the other.
