increasing weight on biceps! HELP!

hey everyone...i have recently noticed that my biceps have stopped growing (even though they are maintained and toned everytime i work out). I make sure that i have flawless form when i curl (both sitting and standing). My problem is i can't go up in weight on my biceps really while maintaining perfect form. My question is how do i get my biceps to grow more? the only supplement i am taking is a protein shake after workouts. Are there supplements (non-steroid) that are worth the money to see some muscle growth? or is there a particular bicep routine anyone has to make them bulge out even further and get even larger? or is it about diet because i am not really paying any attention to my diet because my schedule is very hectic and i always have to either stop and eat fast food alot or eat a sandwich while driving, etc. very very busy so having a balanced and carefully thought out diet is pretty much out of the question :worried:.

My current bicep exercises are 2 sets of standing barbell curl, 3 sets of seated dumbell curls, 3 sets preacher curls, some pullups.

thats all i do because i read somewhere that overworking biceps can ruin the muscle rather than help it so i haven't overloaded them for that reason. :verygood:

any input is appreciated! thanks!

IMO ...
It is not so much your routine. It is probably not gaining overall body weight.
My arms go up with increased bw.
They are the first to go down with decreased ... with calves following.

I'd suggest:
(1) Raise your calories 500 ... 50/50 protein and low GL carbo
(2) Simplify the arm routine to just standing bb curls .... 4 sets only.
1-2-3 ascending warm ups .... #4 a bust ass final set of drops ... 4 reps, then 2, then 2 and 2 dropping the weight each time (about 15-20 secs).

When the arms are up 1-2 inches ... you can make that 3 sets and add 2 of another, like inclines or Arnold concentrations. You'll also weigh more.

Triceps?

How much attention are you giving your other body parts... Back training? Legs etc.... The body growns on a whole both strength wise and size wise. Working your back hard is going to help with your forearm size/strength, grip strength and will ad some size and strength to your Biceps... Also, the Tricep makes up alot of the size of the arm and training them correctly will also ad to overall arm size appearance... Try to eat right when you can and get plenty of good sleep....

I totally agree that arm size is likely to be tied extremely close with BW changes - and if you can't make eating a priority then you can't expect to make much in the way of positive changes to your physique.

FWIW I don't think you need to do nearly the amount of direct arm work that you're doing. Make sure you're going all out on rows and deads and then top it off with some bb curls. Training-wise you don't need to bombard them. But it's all moot if you don't eat enough to grow.

i always learned to do 8 sets max for biceps because its a smaller muscle belly and doesnt necessarily need a ton of stress and sets like back for instance. switching up my routine has always helped to. maybe use different grips on preacher curls or something. one week i would grip the inner part of the curl bar and keep my elbows further apart in order to work the inner part of my biceps and vice versa the next week. i dunno. maybe a routine switchup try. but im no expert this is just what works for me.

Throw in some 21s, and heavy dumbell curls that forces you to cheat a little. I stand by correct form, but you're stuck and need to try something new. Everyone cheats once in awhile, try it out. Go sloppy heavy every now and then.
