i used to obviously hit my incline bb and dbs with my chest but i'm switching my chest routines up again and wondered if throwing in inclines with my shoulders instead would be beneficial?! not a real deep incline but like a steep 75 degree. or should i keep it with chest? thanks bros

I think you are right that the 75 degree angle hits the delts more than chest. Maybe you can target the front delt with that angle and hit chest with a 30 degree angle. If you do shoulders and chest on the same day that may be too much, but if they are separate days, I don't think the higher angle on shoulder day will affect your chest workout too much.

I,d say you can target your delt with a slight incline but no less than 75degree angle.. and keep your lower back ON the bench

I notice alot of people who do incline chest tend to arch their lower back more when lifting a heavier weight, which ultimately brings their chest to a more flattened out angle and therefore kinda negates the purpose of the incline in the first place....

thanks bros. i think i'll try inclines with shoulders for awhile and see how she goes.

Ive done that the past few workouts. The Incline Bench kills my shoulders. Your numbers will go down for shoulders, but you will feel your shoulders being worked much better. In fact, I did incline bench today with flies and some shoulders presses.
