Incline Dumbell Help

I have gotten to the point now where I am unable to get the dumbells off my chest while doing incline dumbell press. I have been setting the dumbells on my knees, then "kicking" them up to my chest. Now that I am up to 90's, I cannot push them on up off my chest. Last time there was a guy in there that I asked to help me get them up, but there hardly are every any guys (or girls) I would trust to help me. Once I get them up, I am fine and and can knock out all the reps. Does anybody have a technique that helps them with this problem?

Then use 85's until you can get them up.

Just wondering why u dont trust someone to put a dumbell in your hand its not as if there gonna drop it on your head lol

alright here's what you do.

1. find someone in the gym (make sure they aren't the stupidest most uncoordinated sack of shit in the gym)

2. ask them to spot you

3. do the reps

4. repeat

DBG is right, use what you can push up on your own until you can get the 90's off you chest. There has to be someone at the gym that can spot/help you....

I workout alone too and except for an occasional spot, I do ok. There is a thread in this forum a few pages back about some hooks that were designed to do that for you. You just hang them off the bar on a bench then you can lift them off just like they were a barbell. I though they were pretty interesting. Although I dont know how much weight they can handle. I would imagine at least 100 or 150 lbs max.
