In college and BROKE

Hi,
I'll keep this short. I am an 18 year old college student. I have no money All the jobs on campus are taken (believe me, I've looked) and I am not able to find work off campus because resident student aren't allowed to have cars. So in a desperate effort to make money I am hoping you will enjoy this flash video I made about 2 guys at Wendy's. There's also my page of graphic art. Please donate anything you can (even just a penny!) My meal plan balance is declining rapidly... Thank you and God Bless.

Welcome to my life, but I do have a full time job on the weekends. 36 hrs in 3 days. Good luck, paying for all my bills and school really becomes a stressor on my everyday life.
 
Unless your college is in the boonies, you should be able to find some job in town. Even in my crowded ass college town I worked three different jobs during my colllege in as many years.

And you should be able to get financial aid, + a Pell grant, since it sounds like you're not claimed as a dependent.

Totally agree with that bomb, and would add to it if I didnt need to recharge.

Even if the kid was genuine, should have more pride than begging for money. You don't have it any tougher than a lot of us did bor, deal.

Somebody being sick is one thing. Someone coming with "but its really really hard" shit deserves a smack in the back fo the head

He should have the deceny to get to know us a bit first, then hit us up for money. Would have maybe gotten tossed a bone that way.

I'm not forcing anyone to do anything. If you didn't want to help me then don't. Also, I've been on the boards since August. I just never posted before. I know it's a pitty attempt but I figured what the hell. It was worth a shot.
 
If you cant afford it then don't do it. If your lifetsyle is out of your $, then change your lifestyle. OR GET A STUDENT LOAN

bor, you dont want to be flush with cash in college, or youll hate a job

then again, neccessity is the mother of invention, and so being broke might actually push your brain out of its comfort (ie booze/chicks) zone and make you think about how to make (and save) some $

good luck :)

imo the best way to make cash in college is to work your ass off during vacations, then make do with the dribs and drabs you make in your bullshit job

oh, and make a still, or learn how to brew beer/wine. that seems to be where 80% of college cash seems to go

have fun :)
