i benched 185 on declines today.
and 170 on flat yesterday (i know, silly of me to bench again today- i just wanted to see how much i could do).

actually, today i benched (decline) 170 x 2, 175 x 1, THEN 185, so next time i try, i'll start higher and see if i can do better.
i don't know why though. lol.

that is so awesome :) maybe if you put a little more space in between those days both lifts will go up!!!!

yes, actually, i do need the help- my training partner doesn't know what a bench shirt IS.
i would have put more days between, but i won't have a workout partner again till friday and i wanted to test my max, the decline bench was free, and... i was curious.
:)
plus, it was a good excuse to stop deadlifting for the day.

seriously, its the most evil thing about me... i think i get off on seeing a male benching less than me, even if they are doing 10 reps and i can only do one- just having more weight on my bar is hot.
lets forget i said that and go back to thinking i'm sweet.

i do my dumbell rows with 60s and 70s- at one point i was doing a few with 75 but i can't do that since dislocating my shoulder.
i often had someone comment, like "dayum!"

sometimes i still do, when i do dumbell presses, but its usually from someone old.
i mean... older than ME.

theres only one excuse that i can think of to stop deadlifting :)

oh...and you cant be that old!, so I am sure there are alot of people older than you are in the gym...unless you are workin out in a high school gym! ;)

Shit, if I'd have known how many hot men you could pick up with the bench press, I'd have started in the 8th grade. You go girl. :evil:

im sure you have men gawking at you in the gym!!! just remember its the cool ones way in the back who will only pay attention to you once theyre done putting away all those 45 plates :)

I only go for the guys who use the 45-50 pound plates. The rest are weenies.
