i took a month break from lifting a few months ago, and since getting back into lifting (been back lifting for about a month again now) i have noticed that my right lat muscle is bigger then my left. I am right handed and have noticed this before but now it seems to be even more noticable. what can i do to get the left side to catch up as quick as possible?

if you can, try to focus more of the pull on your left side when pulling weight. you can also take dumbells, lie on a bench, and put the weights over your head as far down as possible. i forgot what the movement's called. anyway, when doing that, start one rep with the right arm, then do 2 reps with the left arm, then one with the right, then 2 with the left, and so on. or do both arms at the same time the first time, pause the right arm, continue the left arm once, then repeat... understand??

If you do any one arm exercises, like a db row, do the left side first. I've got the same problem with most of my body...the right side is bigger and stronger than the left. I just make sure that I always start off with the left side first, and stop the right side when I match the reps. My biceps and lats have caught up nicely, my left tricep still lags and bit.

i actually do that too, but in a slightly different way. my left bicep is weaker than my right so i start off with my left bicep. but my right hamstrings and quads are weaker than my left, so i start with my right legs. as for my back and abs, i dont really pay attention to which side i do first..

thanks for the tips guys, i usually do my left side first when doing back, because of the fact that it is alittle smaller. i am going to try those exercises like you said goodfoods. i am doing back tonight so ill try them out.
