Importing DNP powder

Ok, I posted this in the anabolic board but thought it might get a better response over here:

Ok, I don't know how to ask for info on this without freaking everybody out, but I want to make it clear that this is not a source post or a request for a source. I am just looking for anyone who knows what the restrictions are for ordering DNP powder. It's not controlled/scheduled, but because of it's toxicity and potential for abuse I've found that US companies won't sell it to individuals. I have however found several overseas companies that can sell a small quantity for personal use.
My question is how this will fly with customs. I would think that it would be no problem since you can openly declare what it is, being that it's not controlled. But because it's so damn dangerous I have a feeling that it may be harder than just checking the MSDS and sending it through.
Anybody have any experience with this or that can shed some insight on it? Please feel free to PM or e-mail me if you'd prefer to keep it off the board, and mods feel free to whack this post if it's crossing the line.

Well... there ARE regulations and there ARE NOT regulations... LOL

The FDA has regulations on these companies that sell DNP, stating that these companies must verify they are selling it to a legitimate chemical corporation for research purposes only. Granted, this could probably be done as easy as encorporating and getting an address to send the stuff too...

But with recent developments regarding DNP and the FDA's recent (within the last year or so) concern regarding this drug... I wouldn't try it.

With that being said... You won't find a company, in the US, to ship you crystal DNP. European companies, perhaps. But Customs is going to be looking for this even more so now... especially that DNP, when dried and heated can act as a nice little explosive.
