I was wondering, Rick, about your thought concerning a "little trick I heard about" for getting packages from P.O. Boxes without Fed fears. I heard that "someone" has a small, metal-detector type device that he uses to detect if there is a transmittor or metallic tracking device of any kind when he goes to his P.O. Box to pick up packages. Basically, this person waits until the regular post office hours are over, which is at 5pm. But access to P.O. Boxes at the post office is available until 6. So he goes between 5-6 pm when no one from the post office is at the front counter, goes to his P.O. Box, and then, HIDING THE SMALL METAL-DETECTOR DEVICE in the sleeve of his coat, scans the P.O. Box for metallic devices by sticking his arm/sleeve into the large P.O.Box as to pretend his shuffling around in there looking through the different mail, as to not alarm any possible authorities watching him that he is using a metal detector. My question to you, Rick, is what happens if the police/DEA, etc. notice this person using a metallic detecting device to protect himself from opening a package with a transmittor? Can a person who DOESN'T open a package after using a metal detecting device to discover that a package is wired, be just as guilty as SOMONE WHO ACTUALLY OPENED THE PACKAGE?
P.S.--Sorry for the long, windedness of this post.
