With the poor and horrible planning of Louisiana authorities. They had a plan for evacuation before the tragedy but after???
People in LA knew this. If a strong hurricane someday hit LA, is the end. Authorities were afraid of this for several years.
The place, (not a city anymore) is a complete mess. A complete chaos. People dying without water, without food, killing each other for "anything". People without electricity, no communications. Dead bodies in the water, fire in the city, no police, I mean, there are police officers without cars, without ammo, trying to get some food and water. Today I was watching Fox News, they were speaking with a guy locked up inside his own business in the french quarter. With little supplies to survive a couple of days. He saw people shooting a police officer in the head, then stealing all the cars from a local Cadillac dealer. People looting jewelry stores.
Why they didn't plan a martial law before the tragedy? National guard should be alerted days before and deployed as soon as the storm was gone! the people should have been forced to leave the city within 24 hrs after the hurricane with a good evacuation and rescue plan. Martial law is simple. "you loot, we shoot"
And beyond all of this, I can't believe the own people of New Orleans is destroying what is left of their city. I mean, not all of them but they seem to be thousands of criminals.
Why instead of trying to leave the city they stay looting?
Why they are not helping each other?
Why they don't even pick debris from the street to clean their own city?
Will they recieve help from our taxes anyway??

I don't know what these people have in their minds. As a Biloxi citizen said today on TV, This doesn't look like America. You only see this on TV in foreign countries.
