I'm using netscape 8.1 and I need to know how to enable javascript. Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bump. May be awhile on this one. I spent over 2 hours trying to fix the problem last night. I wanted to cry out of frustration. Damn computers.

Of all the alternatives, why Nutscrape? Opera and even Firefox would be better if you're totally against IE. IE7 looks cool too. You could download the beta of that.

apparently I did. I don't see it anywhere on the system anymore. Thanks Dialtone. I downloaded firefox and it was working but stopped working for some reason. So I downloaded netscape and it's working except I can't access certain sites because of javascript, I will try the link Dialtone posted.

You might have deleted the icon, but you have to have some pretty in depth windows knowledge to take the program off, and that was on win95

I don't see it anywhere. WHere would I look? It's not listed in programs anymore.

Open up run off the start menu and type iexplore. If it doesn't open, I'll be surprised. What windows OS are you on?

Well I would use firefox, it was working fine and then stopped working.
 
What Windows version you on? If you're on XP, I can probably help ya get an icon back on your desktop easily too.

xp 2000. I would appreciate it.

XP 2000? If you are on Windows XP, and I think it will work on Windows 2000 Pro, right click on your desktop (somewhere blank), and select properties. Click the desktop tab at the top, and then hit the Customize desktop button on the bottom. On XP, this will open to the general tab and there will be 4 check boxes. One is for Internet Explorer. Check that and OK out. It should show up on the desktop. It may be the same on Windows 2000 as well. Good luck.

didn't work. There was no desktop tap.
 
You're probably on Windows 2000 then. I would have to get better instructions than those I can create off the top of my head. PM me if you really need one. Otherwise, you can use the run.
