meanwhile, the guy has a butler, throws one of the biggest parties of the year in the hamptons, has a crew of guys that following him around to make his life sexier. he has clothes, restaurants, music, and a gazzillion bucks. amazing.

I agree on the last point. His music is pop-rap, the music that is Top40 right now.

Puffy's greatest virtue is his marketing background, as you said he parlayed his biggest talent Notorious B.I.G. in to superstardom and along with it BadBoy Records. Unfortunately, without Biggie, he's pretty much relegated to being an MTV whore and trying to find the next big thang.

He always came off to me as fake/poseurish.......and the 2Pac/Biggie beef only revealed that further, IMO.
