i know...thats the one that got me...im partial to the silver too....the fairings are so lean and trimmed down...GGrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :chomp: more HP, less weight, better paint, bigger brakes, etc etc ..... :worried:

seem all the '06 bikes are going to hidden exhaust...even the 1000 ninjas look good, and they have an all black one, im still partial to the R1 though...you seen the R1LE. holy moly
 
Fish....thats a bad ass looking bike...i like the 04 and 05 R1's still...im very partial to the HONDA's...this comming year the 06 is pure dope....all the bikes are going to be wicked for the big 4....you cant go wrong with anything...the ergonomics of the HONDA's is just off the hook for me...the new rims on the R1's are pretty trick looking also....
Hansel- i just did that LOL....went from the 954RR to the new 04 1000RR....shit!!! i would have waited had i known...truely.
 
I'm been thinking lately that I wanna get a bike but I don't know if I wanna start out w/ a crotch rocket or more of a classic style bike. I've heard that street bikes are kind of uncomfortable w/ having to lean over constantly, do ya'll experience this? I've never ridden any motorcycles before and I'm afraid I'd kill myself w/ as much as I like going fast.

well there are quite a few posts regarding starting out with whatever kind of bike...i will not beat a dead horse...i have strong opinions on this subject, but i will not elaborate unless you ask a specific question...as far as the bikes shown here on this thread, they are race bred bikes...not for cruising around...you will be layed over and yes it gets uncomfortable after several hours....if you are a high performance rider you wont mind...if you are looking to enjoy the ride and scenery these are not what you are looking for by any means...nor are they for a first time rider...at all. i will be more than happy to answer any question that i can for you however at any time bro...

I think you should trade up! The new style is off the chain!! Even though most of the asthetic changes are subtle, they make all the difference!
I'm gonna do something most peeps would say was insane. I'm gonna ride down to the states via the ALCAN and hit the whole west coast from Wa. to Diego this summer! I have a full month of vacation coming this summer so I figure, why not! My ultimate dream is to go from coast to coast!

That would be kick ass! Especially since I'll be solo for so many miles. Plus then you'll get to see what you helped me put together! We'll have a blast!

I know what ya mean about just getting to know her! LOL! I was just really starting to feel my bike when I traded her for a woman....well it was a truck but it was because of a woman. :rolleyes: Dumbest decision ever!

Just wondering because PBR and I are serious about the road trip. Next summer, I'm riding down from Alaska and hooking up with him in S.B. and we're riding down to Diego. It's gonna be a blast. Just thought if you were close enough, you could ride with us.
