Well well, first off let me apologize on the gender mix-up and compliment you on the nice body.Secondly that weight is pretty impressive. I know there are some guys at Gold's that couldn't do that weight/rep scheme- one being a "lifting buddy" of mine. Are you training for anything in particular? Keep up the good work

lol.. no wonder you joked about the amount of weight if you thought i was a guy! (did you think i was a guy calling myself the decline queen? lol)
i just like training for strength. i like to see my lifts go up. i'm drug free btw.

my best bench was 205 in a shirt or 170 raw.
i sprained my sacral joint so my best deadlift and squat are only 260 for both.
i'm 37

Your bench is very strong, sorry to hear about your injury though.

Ill bet you get some funny looks in the gym with that much weight. And all the girlie girls are scared of you. LMBO!

i always feel like i'm being looked at. it makes me uncomfortable, but i try to remember that i'm often the only female there and maybe they are just looking to see how much i do or that i'm not hurting myself.
once in a while someone comments or tries to strip the weight off whatever i'm doing and i have to say "i'm using that" and they look around like "YOU?" cause i don't look like i even lift weights and i'm usually by myself.

a few times, people have asked me how do i not break a nail, cause my nails are long, but i say "i don't lift with my nails." :)

I know what your sayin. My old training partner was a female figure/bber and that happend to her all the time. I thought it was funny but she didnt.

I hear ya woman, I feel the same way at my gym. Actually the other day, I was doing the leg press, and I went to get some water came back and was standing near the machine, waiting for my rest time to be up and this guy comes over and looks around and then asks the guy who's sitting at another machine like 10 ft away if he's using the leg press. The guy said no and so he went to remove 1 of the plates, and I was like uhhhh you can leave that there I'm not done yet. And he was like haha you're so small to be using that weight. I was like yea well watch me I got another 2 sets. (And the weight hasn't even gotten heavy yet :rolleyes: )

Some people need to learn to pay more attention to what their doing in the gym than watching others.

I saw this girl lifting at the gym I lift at a couple weeks ago. She was probably 5'10", nice boobs, kinda thick, but still quite attractive. She was doing standing strict barbell presses with 115lbs for reps. I have to admit it kinda turned me on. I was so tempted to compliment her on her lifts and let her know that I thought that it was cool to see a girl actually lift some decent weights, but still look good too. I didn't say anything though, I didn't want to come off like an ass. If I see her lifting again though, I'll definitely give her props, and maybe go for the phone number lol.

If you're training for strength, why don't you try higher weight/lower reps ?

BTW, the bigger the boobs, the smaller the ROM ;)

thats my secret... a very short ROM. :)
i do train for strength and 6 reps is the most i do- this is my second bench day of the week- the other one is flat.

btw, ghettostudmuffin... i think you just described me. except I'm shorter.

thank you... i remember the first time i got 135 and it made my whole month. now i warm up with it.
best flat bench is 170 raw, or 205 in a bench shirt.
my gym went out of business recently so it threw my routine off for a bit till i could find a new gym and a reliable spotter.

I more meant what do you work out with on your flat bench??

being in the military my "GYM" changes alot, I always am working out somewhere different, with someone different, with different type of equipment! It sucks but it is also a good challenge and a great way to meet some interesting people!!

i think the last time i did reps on flat bench was earlier in the week when i had a bad cough and cold and a fever. i think i did 145 x 5 a couple of times, but i was surprised i could do that much cause its about what i usually do.

Awesome shit!!! that would be amazing to watch a female (that looks like a female) rep a plate and 5 each side, and then get up and have a slight cough!!!

Keep up the good work, you'll probably hit 2 plates sometime soon for your max, and if you do, I gotta see a vid!!!
