I'm taking a road trip!!

Well for vacation this year, my friend and I have decided to take a little road trip... We're planning on driving from CT to New Orleans. I personally wanted to buy like a beat up 60 Caddy Deville Convertible, tune it up and see how long it goes for. I'd just leave it down there and fly back... Delta has a 110/one way special goin on for us to fly back on!! I want to stop in nashville or somewhere else cool in Tenn.

So we'll probly rent a car for the trip down and fly back... Any ideas for stops on the way? Penn., Tenn., Carolinas etc?? I also see sometimes those rental car deals with free class upgrades... Anyone know where I can score some of those?

That is the whole reason I am going. If nothing else than for the stories. I gotta do it now before I reach the age and people start to look at me and be like "You're doing what?"
