I've only been in small change games so far (couple of hundreds), not good enough to enter big tourneys like that yet

Good luck bud

I'm up 5,100 for the year so far.

I play in a $200 event once a week with an average of 50 players.

It has something to do with a certain % going to charity, they told me over the phone that the State will be monitoring the games.

That is what I was thinking. They used to do that in Atlanta. Not sure if it still happens. This was about 5 years ago before the big card craze.

I played for 5k wed, finished 4th......Goodluck bro, I lost final hand pocket aces to a low straight. I also had ak suited 5 hands in a row followed by aq and aj Unsuited and never flopped shit. But I one the first two hands big time and thought I was doing fuking great. I made a mistake though. I got excited thought I had ak spades never looked aagin and saw the flop was all spades bet 70k flipped'm and I was sittin on clubs. I felt like shit but noone noticed.....I think that cost me the tourney... I play again wed next week for the same thing...

I didn't even play, the people had no idea how to run a tourny i guess because it was their first one.Only 16 people signed up for the $500 event and 30% was going to charity so the risk was not worth the reward.

I played Blackjack for $25 a hand since it was the max bet and three hours later i cashed in for $430 so all was not lost. Most of the dealers (250 lb women with bad teeth)couldn't count for shit and overpaid myself and others several times.
