HELL YES I HAVE! I rented that movie the day after my friend quoted from the movie and I had no clue what he was talking about. He's like: "You've never seen American Psycho?" Me: "No." Him: "Rent it. The main character is almost exactly like you."
And so he was. The business card scene is a hardcore textbook Warik response.
I hated my roomie my sophomore year. The first thing he said to me is "I've never liked you West Virginians". What a way to begin the year. Later in the semester he accused me of taking his creamy peanut butter and replacing it with a jar of crunchy peanut butter. We got into an arguement and I kicked his ass. He moved out at the end of the semester.
what he is doing is not only incovienient to you, it is also illegal. If he gets busted, so will you. I would demand a room change based on incompatibility, but if that doesn't work, I'd nark to get changed if necessary. Just warn your roomie first that you are going to do whatever it takes to get switched, and that you are not going to try and cover for him at all.
Well, I just got my computer up here at college so I decided I would give you guys a little update. I spoke with the RD and he said it is possible for me to change but I would have to wait 2 weeks because the University requires a 2 week "freeze" period so they can see who is here and who is not. So hopefully I can switch after that period. I wouldn't mind being on my own, I just don't want to be here.
My roommate received a package today with his other pipe, his bong and all of his paraphanalia so I know this guy is a serious smoker. He has 3 posters in our room with obvious references to marajuana. So hopefully the situation will get better. As soon as I get sooner to the date that I can move out I will tell him that I am going to move out because I am not cool with his weed smoking. I don't want to tell him now and have things be awkward for a week. Talk to you guys later. Tyler
I wouldn't wait the two weeks. This is an unusual circumstance. They will move you or maybe kick the other guy out of the dorm if you let them know what is going on. If you don't say anything and he gets caught smoking or possessing, you're both in trouble.
I'm much older than you, and I lived in a college dorm for two years back in 79-81 so I will tell you how I'd handle it if you were my son or little brother.
