I'm confused and I have a few question...help

Lot's of solid advice here... I just want to mention something about diet.

Skinny fat is due to not eating the right foods. You can train religiously, not consume extra calories, and still manage to get fat. I found this out the hard way when I was starting out. You should be able to save some time.

High protein diets work well but you also need carbs and fats for a balanced diet. They're not a necessary evil as advertizers lead you to believe but are needed to both build muscle and to burn accumulated fat.

The trick is to unlearn bad eating habits and find out which food sources will help you transform your body. Some good sources were mentioned but it's worth it to put as much research into your nutrition as you would your workout.
