I'm building my first web page ... need some help!!!

I'm taking a vocabulary course. As part of the course requirements, we must build a web page.

My web page will be about the U.S. Constitution.


Does anyone have any suggestions for music to add to my page?

Also, how about a graphic for a link.


Finally, does anyone have any idea of what I can put on the page in terms of graphics, music, links, etc?


I've never created a web page before so I'm looking forward to the challenge. Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

make it styled like an old document... with old script and stuff... use black/brown and red and blue...

music could be something traditional... i don't know what your country's songs are called... but not the star spangled banner... it'd be a midi right? do you HAVE to include music? i wouldn't... it cheapens pages unless it's a good quality sound that plays briefly when you click on something. i assume that'd be with flash.

does that help? i'm studying graphic design so if this sucks i'm damn screwed... lol

thing is u gotta be very careful as to the type of webpage they want. does your course require a proffessional looking webpage or a kinda homepage thing.

if u want it to be proffessional, music isnt really what you would have wanted i would have thougt, the same goes for big graphics and backgrounds that causes seizures when animated. also you might want to make sure the loading time isnt that long, maybe by limiting big graphics to a splash screen of some sort.

if its a home page thing u want, knock urself out on the graphics and try 'In the Navy' as a soundtrack

(btw im not a webpage designer so maybe warik would be better or HS)

Security is an issue also........ you don't want your web page to get hacked into.......... so make sure you lock it down very well........however..... there are always "backdoors" that may be entered.....and I have a feeling yours will have plenty of backdoors.....................
