im having the worst toothache of my life i went home early from work i couldnt take it anymore my fucking doctor cant see mee till 9 oclock tomorrow that asshole told me i will be ok just take 2 advil every four hours that shit is not working ahhhhhhhh
does anyone have a clue to numb the pain till tomorow. if you have had the same thing happen you know what im talking about

Man, I feel for you bro!!! I have some percocet's, I wish I could give you some. Advil is the best for teeth pain as far as otc drugs... Have you tried that anbesol shit... that numb's your mouth??? It does work for a little while. Then, maybe chug some Nyquil so your ass can fall to sleep.

Also... if your tooth is absessed, COLD water will make the stabbing feeling stop. If it does hurt with cold water, the good news is your bills will be a lot less.

That shit hurt's like a bitch... hope it feels better soon bro!

ambecil or however it's spelled.....it's available at the drugstore.....you can get it for adults or babies..I'm sure they have other products too..........if the pain is that bad, you might want to get a few pkg.'s, and, if it's really really painful, go to emergency......some ppl can tolerate pain for longer periods of time...
also, if you smoke drugs, that'll help too...
also, for immed. action, try abit of booze on the tooth..

Funny you mention that, I had to have a rotten wisdom tooth pulled this week. I have the luxury of having access to a variety of pain killers but of the top of my head I few other the counter meds and pharmacy meds I might use:-

Gee's Linctus- Cough mixture/ about 10mg of anhydromorphine per bottle(hey Danielson/ check this stuff out- I CAN'T believe it is an OTC med!--- BNF does'nt recommend it).

Lignocaine- A lot of throat sweets contain this/ just put it near to the gum where the pain/ it will help. Also male 'delay' spray is full of it!

If you can get codiene over the counter there try about 100mg-150mg.... well over the amount recommended but sounds like you need it.

And obviously the usual meds such as paracetamol, brufen, asprin etc.

any herbal store/chemists which stocks traditional remedies would probably have it

its excellent and is used A LOT for toothaches, its probably the best known natural remediy for it, and probably better some drugs though ive never used it. apparenlty it confuses the body's awarness of the pain so it hurts less, you just need to dab it on

I needed my wisdom teeth out and towards the end one got infected... well, actually two. one side of my head hurt so badly that in order to get to sleep, I was taking handfuls of tylenol, advil, and alieve all at once.
finally I saw that was really stupid (hard on liver) and went to the doc.
lots of surgery later and the pain killers they gave me did jack shit.

i know what that feels like the first time this happend i thought i was gonna die i tried loads of ambesol but it only made it worst it numbed the shit otta my face then all the pain got intense so i had those teeth pulled that was three tears ago, now its my wisdome checking in
