hehe well im like 6 foot 170 pounds and starting my bulking cycle with a 4 day 5x5. Weights are moving good and already after a week a feel alot more solid. im eating alot of food, i dont really watch my diet so much as just always make sure i eat nothing unless it has a significant amount of protein in it. sleep is the biggest thing im missing i think. but i really just want to get bigger, when i cut up i look defined but not big. I need results noticable with my clothes on.... not just off :) anything i should really focus on to make my overall appearance bigger??? im a 16 year old kid soooo bear with me, but im very dedicated. thanks!

Sounds like you got a good plan there. Be sure to eat 5-6 times a day. Try to get in good, wholesome food.

Im with Mike...the best supplement is good whole food and sleep.

Be patient. Gaining size and strength takes time. It sounds like you are already on the right track.

Take some pictures of yourself now, then take pictures again 3 months from now, 6 months and 1 year. That's the best way to see progress. It's almost impossible to see progress when you look at yourself in the mirror everyday.

i was a skinny ass 16yo...you sound just like me, hungry for size. You are definetly on the right track...sleep is important, but your sttill young, you could get by with less than 8hours...just dont make it a habbit. Good luck man, keep adding weight every week, soon your own friends wont recognize you

there's nothing wrong with low-protein food as long as you're also getting your protein. just remember that if you're not gaining weight it's because you aren't eating enough.

Just FYI, when I was 16 I was 5'10 around 180 lbs. I'm 20 now, 6'1 350 lbs.

I did it by eating every two-three hours, meat, fish, clean carbs, and milk. And training hard on the basic compound exercises like squat, deadlift, bench, overhead press, incline press, rows, etc.

I agree with Joker, take some pics every couple months so you can see your progress. And keep a lifting journal, so you can see your lifts progressing.

And keep at it. :)
