Alright I rarely post here & decided that I'd try to post more often...
But I have to vent. It may be stupid but just hear me out okay?!
Here at work, there's very little space & we're waiting on getting another floor in our building - right now it's under construction so that's the hold up. Anywho - in the meantime office-space is so limited. I'm sitting in what's called a "cubical pod" where there's like groups of 4-5 cubes all next to each other. Well as soon as there's space I'll be in an office. But since I started here back in August I've been stuck w/ the biggest nerds ever. Seriously. These people are in the "editorial" field; it's nice to be eloquent & speak intellectually, however when you say things like "the live version of Simon & Garfunkel is so effective" - shit like that deserves a punch in the face.
Anyway... I've been sittin' around these fools for a while now... construction is still in place on the other floor & I won't be moving away from them for another 6 months. I don't associate w/ them at all; I pretty much like to keep to myself 'cause I don't like anyone in my business. Of course I associate w/ other people here but they don't sit near my area. Anyway... these nerds supposedly bought it to the attention of their boss (who works under my boss) that my calls are disturbing them. Especially when I speak spanish. Apparently, they can understand what I'm sayin' since they're taking up spanish classes on the side - ooooookayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! & they told him that I'm talkin' shit about my boss etc. I laughed when he bought it to my attention... I was like WHAT?! Well he laughed with me when I told him that my fiancé's name is also ERIC...so duhhh if I'm ever talkin' about an 'Eric' it's my b/f. & besides, what's it to them?! It ain't their business! How petty is THAT?! It's so damn childish - so "junior high". I feel like punchin' both of these fools in the face.
SIGH....oh well...what goes around, shall COME AROUND! Can I get an "AMEN"?! LOL...
