I believe hitting a wall is better than hitting your best friend IMO. Im sure there are many guys on here that have been drinking and got upset at one point or another. My bad for drinking on spring break also.
Bro don't let these guys give you such a hard time. While they are on here calling you out for it, they are probably inwardly cursing the last drink they had themselves. (I'm not pointing fingers either!)
No one is perfect. If we were, why would we be bodybuilding anyway? A perfect body needs no work, etc etc you see my point.
At least you are honest enough to admit it was a mistake, to God and everyone here on an open forum. For folks with anger issues, alcohol or not that is HUGE, so props to you on that part.
Speaking from experience, I drove the same vehicle for almost 10yrs. In those 10yrs I must have punched it dozens of times for different and all STUPID reasons. Some sober, some not. Point is after 10yrs when I finally let it go, I looked at every single dent in it and explained each one to the new owner. BOY was that a "moment of clarity"
Best thing I EVER learned bro was to count to 10. Seriously if you count to 10 the SECOND you start feeling that BP rise, and tiny specks of sweat on your brow, everyone knows what i'm describing here, the onset of a freakin rage coming on, just stop & count to 10. That is almost always enough time for the initial fight or flight reaction to calm and you can make a logical NON emotionaly / horomone driven decision.
Also remember that alcohol completely eliminates the ability to make ANY kind of logical decision, emotions & horomones aside.
Sorry for the long post but this particular topic hit home very hard with me and I felt the need to reach out to you a bit. Everyone gets mad bro, but if you are prone to spontaneously combusting, why bathe in gasoline?
