i have kazaa lite and have burned many a cd. however, there's been a lot of talk and i havent been paying attention.

It has always been illegal, you are basically stealing copyrighted work, no different than stealing books or movies. The RIAA has filed lawsuits recently against some file sharers, but I believe that has slowed down, not positive. Basically, it is illegal, do at your own risk. Personally, I still do.

just unshare everything you have and you should be safe. They only way to get caught is if they download a song off you or get access to your share folder.
