The sickening thing about this is that the people supporting illegal immigration are shooting themselves in the foot and selling Americans short. I'm against it.
How violently opposed to it depends on my mood.
Right now I'm at peace with myself, and hold little ill will towards others - so simple deportation will suffice.
My present mood in no way excuses our government (both major parties) for their allowing this to happen. If the Feds were properly securing our borders - NO (as in zero) illegals would even be here for me to hate.

IMO nothing is going to fix it. We just need to get used to it.

Doesn't China have a huge wall, maybe we should look around and see what happens elsewhere. People, funny that nobody realizes that some serious shit is going to hit the fan, not in China either. We have a larger mess than even Iraq on our hands and our government is downplaying it so it doesn't get much exposure. Illegal immigration sucks. Our health insurance goes up because of it, we lose jobs to cheap labor, and well, the tear up the rentals.

as long as fat middle class white americans have their jobs and american idol - the govt doesn't give a shit. only when they riot int he streets will stuff happen - and that will never occur.

Just to add to all of this.

Here is an excellent news site I visit and I let them send me their updates on illegal immigration. They also have a good article on people pandering to the poor and how it lead to the current credit crunch.
