Do you want to keep blood levels high like twice a day with insulin or post workout only ?
Kachunga said:Why would you take insulin and Igf-1 together?
half life of igf is 6 hours according to GeneScienceKachunga said:I don't think the half life is as short as you may think it is. I have heard everything from 12-38 hours, so the addition of insulin is not necessary. I actually cycle the 2 of them, month on month off.
I don't want to lengthen the life of insulin. I take it, slam my carbs and then have to wait 6 hrs before I can take in any fat. By then the slin has done its job so why would I want it to work longer??drrman said:he is correct bro, it is supposed to lengthen the halflife of the insulin. I don't usually cycle insulin as most do but i'll take 2-3 iu's AM with my first IGF shot for just this reason
Who is genescience? Isnt he a growth/igf-1 reseller? No offense, but if thats true, I am just as much of an expert than he is.ricorico said:half life of igf is 6 hours according to GeneScience
genescience (aka Gensci) is the manufacturers of Igtropin and Jintropin, which are arguably the best IGF and Growth on the marketKachunga said:Who is genescience? Isnt he a growth/igf-1 reseller? No offense, but if thats true, I am just as much of an expert than he is.
hmm well maybe they know something I don't lol.ricorico said:genescience (aka Gensci) is the manufacturers of Igtropin and Jintropin, which are arguably the best IGF and Growth on the market

dude, its a 6 hour half lifeKachunga said:hmm well maybe they know something I don't lol.
They make the best chinese knockoff (it is good, dont get me wrong) but Gropep (lr3 patent holders) and Serostim is the best Igf-1 and growth you can get imho
Iv'e got the brains at our board, getlr3, looking into the science behind the half life of igf1lr3. I'll let everyone know what I find out.
Bro, I have no idea why it would say that. Unless it's referring to IGF-1, not IGF-1LR3. But think about it for a second. If it was necessary to add insulin to increase the active life of igf-1 in the body, you would have all of these guys here (and other boards) screaming because they are scared of insulin. Or they would have to be injecting every 6 hrs to keep up the level. I just have never heard anyone say that adding insulin was necessary. This does not make any sense to me at all. So you would take your lr3 after your workout at 5 pm, add your insulin at the same time, and that would hold you over until 5 pm the next day?? Since Hum R is active 4-6 hrs and Hum log is active 2-3 hrs, you would keep injecting insulin over the course of the night to keep your igf-1 level up?? That would be insane. All of those insulin injects for what? Thank God it isn't like that. Now what does make sense to me is that igf-1lr3 has an active life of 26-30 hrs, is constantly circulating through your system, binding to what it needs to bind to and whatever doesn't get used in that 26-30 hrs goes into waste. That is why Grunt76 a guy that some here at Elite seem to love, even recommends a eod or e3d inject schedule. Although I disagree with his "low dose or you will get growth gut" scare, he has done some research and none of it calls for adding insulin. This would be consistent with a 26-30 hr life. I am open to further discussion from you or Drrman.ricorico said:then why does the pamphlet taht comes inside every igtropin kit say the half life is 6 hrs???
I have done both as well, sub q tends to leave a bruise on me. I feel that IM is the way to go.Shinobi said:Rico and Kachunga: do u inject IGF intra muscular or sub-q?
Kachunga said:I have done both as well, sub q tends to leave a bruise on me...
No a quarter sized bruise. Black/blue that was there for 3 daysShinobi said:bruise? you mean welts?
no bro, your not a pain....ive seen alot of diff answers to the question too, so the one i went with was what the pamphlet in the igtropin said....i dunno tho.....buy some igtropin and youll see what im talking about....i noticed that the site didnt have igtropin on it too, but at the top of the page it says jintropin/gh/igtropin (or some shit like that), so who knows.....Kachunga said:They have 2 because Igtropin split away from Gensci in 2004. They are their own separate entity I guess. On your link there is no igf-1 info (at least on the english page, I can't read chinese!LOL). I am probably sounding like a pain in the ass to you guys, but I have done tons of research and have never seen that 6 hr claim.
Much Respect
