my theory is when i am dead, i will not know it, but i will know if i have better quality of life because of gear.

recognizing age-induced limits may be a part of life but that does not mean you cannot try and change the rules if you are willing to live with the consequences--

and just as a guess, but sitting in traffic behind an old diesel mercedes is taking many more years off my life than any gear.

i'm 43. . .this was me on friday night. . .i have about 8 more pounds to lose to get down to my normal summer weight (215-ish), which i can do by just bumping up my cardio by about 5 minutes a day. . .

i'm a cpa and i sit in front of a friggin' computer all day long. . .my hrt (which i now use under the supervision of a licensed physician) has improved the quality of my life in every way that you can possibly imagine. . .i'm sure that it's not going to extend my life in any way (however, i do expect it to extend the "quality" portion) but, i doubt that it is going to reduce my life expectancy. . .

I've been on for about three years and did cycles before that. I'll be 42 in a couple months and the juice has made life better for me. Knowing you're on it makes you pay more attention to your diet, bp, sleep, stress, exercise, etc... Considering the choices you make to reduce risk (all of which promote longevity) I'd say that the negative health impact which may or may not be attributed to AS will often be more than offset by the positve changes.

I think you are missing the point of what Eddie was saying.

.

I didn't. I'm refering to using steroid cycles in bodybuilding mode, not HRT...usually excessive from a health stand point.

i know a guy whos been on high doses of different orals non stop for the past two+ years. He seems fine to me. im sure his liver enzymes are high and his balls are like peanuts, but the human body is tougher than people give it credit for, especially in healthy adult males.
